There may be times it may feel as though you are just passing through life with no idea which direction you are moving towards. You may have an idea of where you want to go and what you want to do but it seems like there is no clear cut path. Its like you are lost in the wilderness trying to find your bearing. But, it is only by being lost that one can truly be found.
I don’t know whether that makes sense but hey, in some way it does. What happens when your present circumstances do not match your vision? Its a very hard place to be in. That is the middle. Being in the middle of your journey in life is an interesting position. It is a time of uncertainity; a time of developing the fortitude and faith necessary to make it through the journey successfully. It is a time of self discovery. What makes the period of transition even more scary is that the decisions made during this period will potentially affect the possibility of arriving at your desired destination. Even as you may want to take detours, some of them may alter your destination to another one that may either leave you feeling more fulfilled or less fulfilled.
All of us are in transition in our lives. Life is constantly moving and it will continue moving as time goes by. We are all on our journey in life and the decisions we make now influence the direction our life will take. As we face new situations in life, we learn how to deal with what life throws our way.
The truth is that nothing in life is cut in stone. There are so many uncertainities we face on our journey through life. The thing that gives us strength each day is the faith that the decisions made will work out.
So fear not. You may find people who can relate with you on the anxiety uncertainty brings. Fear of what could go wrong should not be the basis of making decisions rather, the faith that all will be well should.
